The "driftwood" consisted of over 150 pieces of wood that I cut down to sizes varying from 6 inches to 3 feet. I whitewashed the wood, painted the tips varying shades of blue, and then dipped them in sand. It took two days to individually hang each piece from the ceiling with sisal twine.
