These were really time-consuming. First, I had to weather many many rolls of wallpaper. This consisted of coating sheets of wallpaper in wood stain and paint, and then sanding parts of the paint off to reveal the design underneath. It was a smelly, messy process. Then I had to create the individual petals, and then the individual flowers.
The centers of the flowers are cut-up balloons that were dipped in wood stain to give them a messy, weathered look but still provide a pop of fun color.
